A beauty insiders’ dinner at Daphne’s
Join a panel of cosmetic experts for an evening of fine food, wine and conversation for one night only
Beauty buffs prepare for an enlightening evening at Daphne’s on February 4 when the South Kensington restaurant hosts a gathering of industry experts who promise to inform and delight guests at a special dinner event.
The experience (priced £85 for a three-course meal with wine and a cocktail) brings together London-based cosmetic dermatologist Dr Sam Bunting and aesthetic doctor David Jack, alongside Dr Martin Galy – co-founder of 23MD and a specialist in bio-identical hormone treatments (BHRT) – and health and beauty editor Francesca White for a panel discussion. A range of topics will be debated between courses, from issues affecting different skin types and modern cosmetic-beauty techniques to products that work to prepare the skin for aesthetic procedures and the role of hormones in beauty and wellness.
The dinner will kick off with a martini cocktail, followed by an antioxidant-rich beetroot salad with tardivo and caprino cheese. The main course is grilled Devonshire Red chicken with roasted peppers, olives and pine nuts, or a vegetarian dish of mozzarella ravioli with tomato and basil. Tiramisu will be served as the experts come to their conclusions, and diners will be invited to participate in a Q&A. “The aim is to demystify what goes on behind cosmetic procedures and to eliminate the stigma that is attached to them, while instilling confidence in guests to take control of their health and wellbeing,” says White.
