A tantalising truffle tea at The Hari
Fine fungi-infused fare arrives at Il Pampero restaurant
This summer, those with a taste for truffles are in for a treat as The Hari Hotel’s Il Pampero restaurant in London introduces a truffle tea, from August 16 to September 16, priced at £65 per person (or £75 per person with unlimited prosecco).
The menu will feature savoury delights such as truffle pears and porcini salad, beef carpaccio and truffle bruschetta, and arancini truffle; while sweeter treats include macaroons, coffee tartelette, hazelnut bignè or cream cheese cannoli.
“The summer truffle is delicious and aromatic and allows for more experimentation than the stronger winter white truffle – and there’s a larger quantity available,” says The Hari’s executive chef Claudio Covino.
