Charlotte Olympia steps up to collaborate with Maison Ladurée

High tea and macarons celebrate a decade of high-heeled glamour

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of her luxury eponymous brand, shoe designer Charlotte Olympia Dellal has collaborated with Maison Ladurée, creating a partnership where high heels meet high pâtisserie. The result is a decorative presentation box – available from August 29 – inspired by Charlotte’s iconic mascot and taking the form of a leopard’s head. Eight macarons (£21.50) nestle inside, flavoured with chocolate and a hint of Earl Grey tea.

As an accompaniment to the macarons, Dellal and the famed Parisian pâtisserie have created a special loose tea (£26 for 100g) combining a subtle blend of Indian and Chinese black teas flavoured with bergamot, almond and chocolate. The leaves are presented in a cylindrical box, which is adorned with a leopard on a background of a golden spider’s web – a design referencing the Charlotte Olympia logo.
